Business Development Manager - Mental Health Charity - Flexible base + travel to Surrey - £50,000 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, remote working

We are working with a growing veteran's Mental Health charity, with services across the UK, to find their first Business Development Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Operational Leader who has focused their career on Project Management, Service Design and who have a track-record of writing successful tenders and securing contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity to impart your mark on a growing provider that caters to veterans and their Mental Health needs.

At the present time the role will be 100% remote, with eventual travel a few times a week within the South of England, while also being able to work remotely in the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities of this Business Development Manager role include:

* Working with senior colleagues to identify and respond to new business opportunities within both existing and emerging markets
* To oversee the design and development of new service offerings that maximise the impact of the organisation
* Developing, designing and implementing strategies that support the organisation's growth and improves the impact it has within local communities
* Developing new partnerships and relationships that support business development objectives
* Supporting and delivering business presentations in a confident manner to help secure new business opportunities
* Ensuring that any bids / tenders produced are of high quality, fully costed and completed in a timely manner
* Tracking new prospects and facilitating the formal tender and procurement process right though to contract signing, implementation and realisation
* Project managing specific opportunities as agreed with the Executive Director

Essential requirements of this Business Development Manager role include:

* Experience in Service Design, Project Management and successful tenders and securing of new contracts
* Relevant qualifications (BA, MBA ideal)
* Operational knowledge of innovative solutions that are value for money and meet the needs of the respective commissioner
* Recognised qualification in or experience with Project /Programme Management
* A valid UK Driver's license and flexibility to travel
* Eligible to work in the UK
