Physiotherapist - Neuro Rehab - Bristol - £34,000 - £37,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Physiotherapist to join an Inpatient Neuro Rehab Team based in Bristol. You will be working with a close interdisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

Patients typically have complex physical and cognitive presentations following traumatic or acquired brain injury in addition to other neurological conditions such as Guillain Barré and spinal injury.

There are 52 rehabilitation beds and offer both Level 1 (intensive) and Level 2 (slower stream) specialist inpatient rehabilitation for patients with acquired or traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities of this Physiotherapist role include:

* Medical and physical management of spasticity including splinting and serial casting
* Complex postural management
* Assessment for and provision of orthotics
* Hydrotherapy
* Use of equipment e.g. the Lite-Gait overhead walking harness and treadmil, quest electric standing frames, standard and motomed exercise bikes and tilt tables
* Management of behaviours that challenge
* Tracheostomy management and weaning
* Individualised patient goal setting and outcome measurement

Requirements for this Physiotherapist role include:

* Be HCPC registered
* Hold the relevant degree/qualifications in Physiotherapy
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle
* Eligible to work in the UK
