Senior Occupational Therapist - Neurological / Brain injury - North West - £38,000 - £40,000 per annum

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

We are currently looking for a highly qualified Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Neurological/ Brain Injury team based in the North West.

Responsibilities of this Senior Occupational Therapist role include:

* Providing a client-centred occupational therapy service to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs, within the local services working with multi-disciplinary team members
* To actively develop and implement a framework of care, which reflects a holistic approach to service user needs, and the seven pillars of clinical governance
* To use evidence-based principles to apply clinical skills and reasoning in occupational therapy, assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation which include individual and group orientated approaches
* To be a resource for the team, providing, occupational therapy professional guidance, and to lead on the evaluation and continued development of the occupational therapy service

Essential requirements of this Senior Occupational Therapist role include:

* To be qualified and registered as a practising Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Band 7 qualified Occupational Therapist
* To be able to work as an autonomous practitioner as a Professional Member of the College of Occupational Therapists
* Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy theory and best practice, being able to demonstrate effective occupational therapy practice in all qualified procedures
* Experience of capacity and best interest work
* Able to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the service
* Clean driving licence
