Lead Nurse - RGN or RMN - Community Drug and Alcohol Detox Clinic - Tower Hamlet - up to £36,689.49 per annum (including £3,600 Inner London Weighting)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join a Community Drug and Alcohol Detox Clinic based in Tower Hamlet.
The Lead Nurse (RMN or RGN) will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses at Tower Hamlet. As directed by the locality lead and clinical services coordinator, the post holder will provide a nurse-led clinical service.

Responsibilities of this Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) role include:
* Assessing clients and developing risk management plans
* Screening for BBV
* Delivering vaccinations
* Dispensing naloxone
* Advising clients on medication and substance misuse, and enabling them to access medical care
* Review medication regimes and assist in the process of referrals for post-treatment recovery support
* Work within the Medically Assisted Recovery model
Essential requirements of this Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) role include:
* Nursing qualification (RGN or RMN)
* UK NMC registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Previous experience of working with drug and alcohol recovery is essential
* Previous experience of leading/ managing a team is desirable
