Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (PIP) - Substance Misuse - Herefordshire - Up to £40,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday -Friday, 9am - 5pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (GHpC) to join a multi-disciplinary team offering specialist prescribing services and a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions to people entering this brand-new Substance Misuse recovery service in Herefordshire.

Responsibilities of this Pharmacist Independent Prescriber role include:

* Working with patients to enable first class prescribing within appropriate guidelines.
* Seeing clients on a one to one basis either virtually or face to face in a clinical setting
* Providing positive, supportive outcomes for service users that access treatment
* Working alongside consultants and nursing staff, attending MDT meetings
* Providing Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations

Requirements of this Pharmacist Independent Prescriber role include :

* Belong to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Previous experience as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber
* Have experience within substance misuse
* UK Driver's License
* Eligible to work in the UK
