Service Manager - Nurse Qualified - Poole, Dorset - Up to £65,000 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking and experience nurse-qualified Service Manager to grow and develop our clients beautiful service in Poole. The service is a bridge between a hospital and a nursing home. It provides 50 care and 10 nursing beds, alongside 20 intermediate beds.

The service also offers enhanced support and facilities to Poole residents, including rehabilitation with clients accepted on a referral basis by the NHS and the Council.

Responsibilities of the Service Manager - Nurse:

* Ensuring the home will maintain or exceed its Good CQC rating upon inspection
* Looking after recruitment and ensuring a full rota at all times
* Providing leadership to all staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment
* Managing the effective use of resources and maintaining high levels of occupancy within the home
* Establishing deep, meaningful relationships with the residents and their families
* Managing the budget and conducting financial audits
* Managing all complaints and safeguarding processes
* Continuing to develop working relationships with local authorities, CQC and external stakeholders

Essential requirements for the Service Manager - Nurse include:

* Nurse qualified with valid NMC PIN
* Experience of managing large services (ideally over 60 beds)
* Proven track record managing a care home with "Good" CQC ratings (required)
* Demonstrating consistency/longevity in previous management roles
* Full UK driving license
* The legal right to work in the UK
