Prison Nurse - Band 5 - HMP Norwich, Norfolk - Up to £30,615 per annum + NHS Pension
Hours - 37.5 hours per week (mixed shifts)
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) with experience in primary care or a prison setting in Norfolk. Our client is one of the largest providers of private health care across the country and specialise in prisons health and substance misuse treatment.
The successful band 5 nurse will be driven to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of men, women and juvenile inmates.

Responsibilities as a Prison Nurse include:
* Providing clinical input to offenders and support to junior colleagues
* Working with the MDT to assist senior staff to deliver a nurse-led integrated primary care services and develop a specialist practice-based clinical model within the prisons
* To treat all prisoners/patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times
* To assess individual care needs, implement and evaluate holistic programs of care
* To take every opportunity to promote the health and wellbeing of the patient
* To develop effective communication and liaison systems
Requirements of this Prison Nurse role include:
* Registered General Nurse with active PIN
* Experience in a prison setting (ideal)
* Flexible to work shift patterns
* UK Driver's License
