Community Nurse - Complex Care - Maidstone, Kent - Up to £34,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced registered nurse (RGN) for a large UK provider that offers live in or live out care packages to people with complex health needs, spinal cord injury, and acquired brain injuries.

The successful Community Nurse will have ownership and accountability of care provision for clients assigned to their case load in the Maidstone, Kent region. The successful candidate will also act as Care Manager to support the service through assessing & reviewing, training, development and observations of Personal Care Assistants (PAs).

The role will involve travel and you will work as part of a fully supportive and committed team. previous experience of working in a community setting will be beneficial for this role.

Duties of this Community Nurse role include:

* Maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with CQC, NMC and other professional standards
* Ensuring a high-level customer/client satisfaction through excellent communication, trouble-shooting difficulties, proactively managing expectations and creating solutions for clients
* Ensuring that clients, families and carers remain central to our service
* Providing clinical advice and guidance for clients, families, and care assistants
* Ensuring the accuracy of all clinical records and data completed within our care package
* Providing expertise on all clinical issues and development of the company

Essential requirements of this Community Nurse role:

* You will have excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with clients, families and Case Managers
* A car owner with a full UK driving licence and willing to travel
* Registered General Nurse with at least 2 years post registration experience
* NMC PIN and the legal right to work in the UK
* Independent, self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision
* Computer literate with Microsoft packages
* You will be a team player, happy to help your colleagues if needed because they will do the same for you
