Senior Nurse - Neuro Rehabilitation - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire - Up to £18.30 per hour

38.5 hours per week (mixed 12-hour shifts)

We are currently recruiting for a senior nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to lead a team in a Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. They are looking for a senior nurse with experience in complex care, neurological and/or acquired brain injury care.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working in partnership with the NHS, in providing necessary support to people who have suffered a brain injury. The centre has excellent facilities, expertise and resources.

Responsibilities of the Senior Nurse include:

* Achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care
* Ensure effective communication systems are in place and used appropriately
* Work collaboratively with the team through effective leadership and motivational skills
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents/patients from admission to discharge
* Look after allocated residents/patients and ensure involvement in all aspects of the rehabilitation programme
* Writing multi-disciplinary team reports & attending case reviews
* Ensure that all relevant codes of practice and regulations
* Ensure ongoing Professional Development is maintained

The successful applicant for this Senior Nurse role must have:

* Nursing qualification (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with valid NMC PIN (required)
* Extensive experience in complex or neurological care (required)
* Driver's license
* The legal right to work in the UK
