Physiotherapist - Care of the Elderly - Band 6 - Newham - £26 - £28 per hour

The role is a full-time role Monday to Friday.

We are currently looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to work with one of our NHS clients in Newham. The successful physiotherapist will be based in the inpatient rehab ward with experience of general medicine and/or care of the elderly being desirable. The ideal physiotherapist will have experience of respiratory care, rehab and discharge planning.

The successful Physiotherapist will have experience of:

* Specialist acute assessment and early rehabilitation for patients following an injury
* Assisting in the supervision and education of student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers
* Writing patient case notes and reports and collect statistics
* Educating patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions
* Keeping up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients
* Liaising with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention
* Managing clinical risk

Requirements of this Physiotherapist role include:

* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
