Occupational Therapist - Band 6 - Inpatient Rehabilitation - North East London - £26 - £28 per hour
This is an ongoing contract, initial 3 months with the likelihood of extension. This role offers flexible work working hours.
We are currently looking for a band 6 occupational therapist to work with one of our NHS clients in North East London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a friendly, multidisciplinary team.
The successful occupational therapist will be working in the inpatient rehabilitation team, responsible for rehab and discharge planning. The ideal candidate will have previous NHS experience.

The successful Occupational Therapist will have experience of:
* Developing a rehabilitation programmes to help rebuild lost skills and restore lost confidence
* Discharge planning
* Goal setting
* Rehab
* Knowledge of community services and referral processes
* Equipment ordering
* TCES experience
* Liaising with other professionals, such as doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, equipment suppliers and architects, as well as patients' families, carers and employers
* Writing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment.
* Organising support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients
Requirements of this Occupational Therapist role include:
* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
