Staff Nurse - Mental Health Hospital - Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands - £28,604 - £32,701 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 hours

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and ambitious Staff Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to join a mental health hospital in Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands.

The hospital has 52 beds and specialises in the treatment of patients from 16 years and upwards, who have severe physical and/ or cognitive problems resulting from a brain injury.

This will be a highly challenging but rewarding role, and they are looking for a motivated Staff Nurse to join their highly skilled and supportive team.

As Staff Nurse (RMN or RNLD or RGN) you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring that all clinical practice is evidence based and consistent with relevant guidelines and company policies
* Protecting vulnerable individuals from internal and external factors while acting as an advocate
* Reviewing risk factors and working in conjunction with the MDT to modify care plans where appropriate
* Providing clinical leadership through induction and supervision of staff
* Administering drugs and checking procedures in line with NMC guidelines

As Staff Nurse (RMN or RNLD or RGN) you will have:

* A nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
* Experience in a similar setting
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS
