Registered Nurse - Brain Injury Rehab Hospital - Blackheath - up to £17.50p/h

Our client is a fantastic award-winning Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre which is a specialist provider of person-centred rehabilitation, care and support to male and female adults (over 18 years) with a brain injury or other complex neurological condition. Situated within 12 acres, the service offers intense rehabilitation for adults in the post-acute phase following a brain injury right through to step-down independent supported living. 

They are looking for a qualified Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join their respected Nurses. The Nurses who work in this Centre are listened to and highly respected throughout the organisation. If you are looking to progress in your career this is the right role for you as a third of the senior management team are qualified Nurses.

At this Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre they provide the following services:   

Specialist Rehab

Slow-stream Rehab

Complex Disability Management

Neuro-palliative Service

As a Nurse working within a Rehabilitation, you will:

  • Develop specialized knowledge and clinical skills
  • Develop and implement an individualized teaching and discharge plan with clients and their families
  • Perform hands-on nursing care 
  • Coordinate a holistic approach to meet patient's medical, vocational, educational and environmental needs
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with clients, their families and health team members
  • Act as a resource and a role model for nursing staff and students
  • Apply nursing research to clinical practice

You will need to have:

  • An RMN or RNLD qualification
  • ABI / Rehab experience
  • A valid NMC pin
  • The legal right to work in the UK
