Clinical Team Leader - RMN / RNLD - Female Personality Disorder - Maidstone - up to £42,000p/a

Our client is one of the UKs leading mental health service providers and delivers an increasingly wide range of services for a number of NHS commissioning bodies. They currently hold contracts with NHS England and 65 other NHS entities across the UK and Wales and are looking for experienced RMNs and RNLDs.

You will be joining a fantastic, fully compliant hospital as a clinical team leader. The service caters for adults with a range of enduring mental health conditions. They are in need of someone to lead one of their four clinical services - Female Personality Disorder. You will be part of growing and developing the clinical teams in order to deliver quality care that makes meaningful change to the life of service users.

Your role as Clinical Team Leader will involve:

  • Providing strong clinical leadership to the Nursing team
  • Being an active participant in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessments
  • Regularly reviewing risk factors
  • Ensuring that clinical practice is evidenced based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and the organisations policies and procedures
  • Undertaking clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice
  • Leading the administration of medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and organisation protocols
  • Ensuring all clinical documentation is of a high standard and patient notes are maintained and filed in the appropriate way
  • Providing a highly specialised range of clinical interventions and knowledge of evidence based models of practice relevant to the patients needs
  • Leading and managing allocated resources effectively through efficient resource allocation, skill mixes, roster management, and utilisation of equipment
  • Participating in clinical audit, clinical risk and quality issues

Essential skills / experience:

  • RMN or RNLD qualification
  • Supervision of a healthcare team
  • Team player as well as working on own initiative
  • Clinical knowledge to support and develop the services offered
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • NMC registration
