Staff Nurse - Specialist Care Facility - Clitheroe - £31,000p/a

37.5 hours on a 4 weekly rotation basis (days and nights available)

We are currently looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse for a permanent opportunity in a Specialist Care Facility in Clitheroe, Lancashire. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their existing team

The site is furnished to the highest standards and developed to provide a 33 bed residential care home. 29 standard en-suite bedrooms and 4 onsite recovery flats with kitchen facilities. The buildings are set within extensive grounds on the outskirts of Clitheroe.

The specialist care's facility, is a residential care home offering hospital-equivalent levels of care from a Consultant Psychiatrist-led Multidisciplinary Team.

Working in this Specialist Care Facility, you will:

  • Provide recovery-focused care to both male and female adults who have a primary mental health diagnosis
  • Develop personalised care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Enable individuals to think about, plan and achieve meaningful goals
  • Support individuals to take control of their lives by working in partnership with them, their families and health and social care professionals
  • Specialise in treating individuals who have stepped down from hospital care, who may have a secondary diagnosis of learning disability or neuro-developmental disorders, and who may have a forensic and substance misuse history
  • Act as a Named Nurse / Key Worker for allocated group of residents
  • Provide supervision for unqualified / junior staff 

You are required to have:

  • An RMN qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC and the legal right to work in the UK
