Service Manager - RMN / RNLD - Specialist Complex Care Service - Colchester - £50,000p/a

Monday to Friday - 9 - 5 hours

We have partnered with our client to provide a service manager for their specialist complex care and rehabilitation service catering to men with learning disabilities.

The service you will be leading provides support and treatment for men with learning disabilities and complex needs. The team also have the resources to support people who have additional mental and physical health needs as well as those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act.

Duties of a Service Manager in a Complex Care and Rehab Hospital include:

  • Focusing on enabling service user recovery in a compassionate setting
  • Reporting directly to the Operations Director
  • Leading the senior management team to ensure the integrity of all functions in the hospital across Clinical, Finance, HR and Support Services
  • Overseeing the operational management and leading the overall function of the Service
  • Ensuring the hospital remains compliant with CQC requirements and all regulated activities
  • Being responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of service user care and employee engagement
  • Reviewing and developing potential opportunities for improved quality and commercial growth

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Registered Mental Health / Learning Disability Nurse qualification (RMN / RNLD)
  • Knowledge of CQC guidance and other regulatory requirements
  • Experience of managing a healthcare service
  • Credibility with stakeholders
  • NMC registration and eligibility to work in the UK
