Clinical Team Leader - Tier 4 CAMHS - Sevenoaks - up to £45,000p/a

We are looking for a highly experienced nurse, who is qualified as a mental health or learning disability nurse, to join a private mental health hospital in Sevenoaks, Kent. This fantastic fully compliant hospital is a forward thinking service for adults with enduring mental health conditions. They are an outcomes and values driven service that provides a range of clinical services across 2 care pathways - Tier 4 CAMHS open acute service and pre-discharge wing. Your duties as a Clinical Team Leader will involve:

  • Providing strong clinical leadership to the Nursing team
  • Being an active participant in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessments
  • Regularly reviewing risk factors
  • Ensuring that clinical practice is evidenced based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and the organisations policies and procedures
  • Undertaking clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice
  • Leading the administration of medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and organisation protocols
  • Ensuring all clinical documentation is of a high standard and patient notes are maintained and filed in the appropriate way
  • Providing a highly specialised range of clinical interventions and knowledge of evidence based models of practice relevant to the patients needs
  • Leading and managing allocated resources effectively through efficient resource allocation, skill mixes, roster management, and utilisation of equipment
  • Participating in clinical audit, clinical risk and quality issues

Essential skills / experience:

  • RMN or RNLD qualification
  • Supervision of a healthcare team
  • Team player as well as working on own initiative
  • Clinical knowledge to support and develop the services offered
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • NMC registration
