Night Nurse - RGN / RMN - Small Elderly Nursing Home - Ashton-under-Lyne - £16 - £17p/h

We are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) for a permanent night opportunity in an small Elderly Nursing Home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.

The home is part of one of the region's leading providers of nursing homes and they are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their existing team. The care home is specifically designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care, and is finished to a high standard. Situated in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne, the home offers a modern and supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge areas.

A Nurse working in an Elderly Nursing Home will be required to:
  • Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
  • Develop, review and update care plans
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood and adhered to by all staff
  • Provide clinical leadership & supervision for nurses and healthcare staff 
  • Participate in the induction and training of all new nurses on the unit
  • Supervise and monitor standards of nursing care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places 

You will need to have:

  • An RGN or RMN Nursing qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
