Service Manager - RSCN / Midwife - 0-19 Children and Family Wellbeing - Lancaster - up to £40,000p/a

There is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading private provider as one of their service managers. The service is located in Lancaster, Lancashire and you will be managing the 0 - 19 children and family wellbeing team. 

All candidates must have an in depth knowledge and understanding of the delivery of Public Health Nursing accompanied by a strategic outlook on the development of PHN services. You will bring your experience of facilitating and managing change, driving this through process development and delivery within your area.

Duties of a Service Manager for a Children and Family Wellbeing Service include:

  • Providing strategic leadership and management to the service
  • Managing budgets and expenditure
  • Leading the Healthy Family Team to deliver services to meet contractual requirements ensuring remaining in line with service specification
  • Implementing management and communication structures to build effective and empowered teams with clear lines of accountability, responsibility and authority
  • Conducting robust performance reviews
  • Developing close working relationships with local health and social care providers to provide an integrated service delivery

Requirements:

  • NMC registration
  • Qualification in Health Visiting, School Nursing, RSCN or Midwife
  • Demonstrable evidence of CPD in this area of Nursing
  • Managerial experience in a healthcare setting
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
