Staff Nurse - RGN / RMN / RNLD - Male Rehabilitation Service - Manchester - £28,280 - £35,000p/a

37.5 hours per week (3 shifts one week, 4 the next) 

Days - 7:45am - 8:15pm

Nights - 7:45pm - 8:15am

We are looking to recruit a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) for a male rehabilitation service in Manchester. The service has a fantastic reputation and has achieved a Good CQC provides care and support to men aged 18 years and over who are needing rehabilitation.

As a Nurse within a Rehabilitation Unit, you will:

  • Develop specialized knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for people with physical disability and chronic illness
  • Coordinate educational activities and use appropriate resources to develop and implement an individualized teaching and discharge plan with clients and their families
  • Perform hands-on nursing care 
  • Coordinate a holistic approach to meet patient's medical, vocational, educational and environmental needs
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with clients, their families and health team members
  • Act as a resource and a role model for nursing staff and students
  • Apply nursing research to clinical practice

You will need to have:

  • A Registered Nursing qualification
  • Valid NMC pin
  • The right to work in the UK
