Cluster Lead Nurse - RGN / RMN - Community Drug and Alcohol Detox Clinic - SE London - £36,922 - £45,000p/a

We are looking for a senior nurse to take on a cluster lead nurse position within a community drug and alcohol detox clinic based in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest and Southwark. 

The role of Cluster Lead Nurse means you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses across sites in Waltham Forest and Southwark. As directed by the Locality Lead and Clinical Services Coordinator, you will be required to provide a nurse-led clinical service to people suffering from substance misuse.

Role responsibilities of a Cluster Lead Nurse include:

  • Leading and providing supervision to a set team of Nurses
  • Assisting in the process of referrals for post-treatment recovery support
  • Reviewing medication regimes
  • Delivering vaccinations
  • Dispensing Naloxone
  • Advising clients on medication and substance misuse
  • Enabling them to access medical care
  • Working within the Medically Assisted Recovery model

Requirements:

  • Nurse qualified (RGN or RMN)
  • Valid, UK NMC registration
  • Previous experience of leading / managing a healthcare team
  • Experience of working with drug and alcohol recovery is ideal, but not essential
