37.5 hours per week (3 shifts one week, 4 the next) 

Days - 7:45am - 8:15pm 

Nights - 7:45pm - 8:15am 

A staff nurse is required to join on of the largest providers of private mental health and learning disability care in the UK. You will be working in a nursing home which caters for people with learning disabilities or autism who may also have a dual diagnosis of a mental health condition. The service is located in Workington, Cumbria

The service has a fantastic reputation and has achieved a 'Good' CQC. The home work at a 1:2 staff to service user ratio and at present there is 20 service users. The service is split up into 2 units and each service user gets 1:1 care throughout the day. The service helps service users gain people skills and assists them in learning and developing, from cooking to charity car washes.

As a Staff Nurse in this Service, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring optimum client care is maintained
  • Managing patient care plans and risk assessments 
  • Providing a highest standard of quality care of patients 
  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of clinical practice 
  • Assessing, planning and delivering resident care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care

You will need:

  • A nursing qualification
  • Current NMC pin
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
