Occupational Therapist - Band 6 - North East London NHS Foundation Trust - £26- £28 per hour

We are currently looking for a skilled occupational therapist with experience of a multidisciplinary setting to join the team of one of our NHS clients based in North London.

The role is for a band 6 and the rate is between £26-£28 and is initially a 3 month with likelihood of extension.

The successful Occupational Therapist - Band 6 will have experience of:

* Managing complex case loads
* Provide rehabilitation for inpatients on ward
* Use RIO for documentation
* Clinical reasoning
* Plan and coordinate safe and timely discharges

Other experience required:

* Surgical care
* Orthopaedics
* Working with older adults
* Advising on specialist equipment to assist with daily activities
* Developing a rehabilitation programme to help rebuild lost skills and restore lost confidence
* Advising on home and workplace environmental alterations, such as adjustments for wheelchair access
* Liaising with other professionals, such as doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, equipment suppliers and architects, as well as patients' families, carers and employers
* Writing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment
* Organising support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients

The successful Occupational Therapist MUST have:

* HCPC registration
* Post qualified experience
* The legal right to work in the UK
