Physiotherapist - Band 6 - Acute - Central London - £26 - £28 per hour

37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30)

We are looking to book two Band 6 Physiotherapists to join an Acute Medical and Elderly team at Queen's Hospital to start immediately.

You will be working 37.5 hours a week (Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30) and be based predominantly in the Elderly and Medical Specialties & Oncology pathway covering Medical Short Stay Unit, Gastroenterology, Renal, Oncology/Haematology.

Main responsibilities as a Physiotherapist - Band 6 - Acute:

* Acute environments
* Discharge planning
* Prioritising case loads
* Ensuring that patients receive, following appropriate assessment, safe and effective management
* To communicate verbally and in writing with multidisciplinary team staff to facilitate optimum patient care
* Managing clinical risk
* Working independently
* Managing own caseloads
* Able to work as a team player
* Delivering high quality assessments
* writing patient case notes and reports and collect statistics
* keeping up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients
* liaising with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention

The ideal Physiotherapist will be:

* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
