Clinical Lead - RGN / RMN - Substance Misuse Clinic - Waltham Forest - up to £42,000p/a

Inner London Weighting and up to £5,000 R&R bonus

Our client is looking for a nurse to join their close-knit team at their substance misuse clinic in Waltham Forest as a clinical lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses. As directed by the Locality Lead and Clinical Services Coordinator, the post holder will provide a nurse-led clinical service.

You will be working for a company with a reputation for delivering excellence in services for people with drug and alcohol dependency issues. They are looking for a skilled nurse (qualified as an RGN or RMN) with a background in substance misuse, prison services or clinic/practice nursing background. It would be beneficial if you had prior experience of leading a nursing team.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership
  • Be responsible for the clinical area of the service
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Monitor the quality of care given to patients 

Essential requirements:

  • To be an RGN or RMN
  • Possession of an active UK nursing pin
  • Have knowledge of clinical prescribing issues
  • Possess knowledge of the issues facing alcohol misusers including appropriate medical interventions, social care and health issues
