RGN – Clinical Lead Nurse – Elderly & Dementia – Preston, Lancashire - £17.50 per hour plus paid breaks

Days - Full Time

An experienced and dedicated RGN is required to join a fantastic nursing home in Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for an RGN who is looking for a more senior position, and who has the ability and skills to take on more responsibility within a nursing home setting.

This nursing home has a ‘Good’ CQC and specialises in elderly and dementia care. The successful Clinical Lead Nurse will be managing a highly ambitious and committed team of nurses, who are known for providing exceptional quality care throughout the home.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN), you will be proving clinical leadership and supervision to a team of healthcare staff and will be required to participate in the induction and training of new staff within the home. you must be confident, ambitious and have a keen interest in elderly care.

Within the role you of RGN – Clinical Lead Nurse will be undertaking the following duties:

  • Providing and supervising the delivery of high standards of care to residents with the nursing home
  • Undertaking supervision of all staff in your team to ensure safe and high quality practice
  • Executing all nursing functions and supporting teams through providing adequate levels of care to clients
  • Managing junior staff and coordinating the work of others involved in caring for the patient. Including the patient's family
  • Dealing with residents with complex needs
  • Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
  • Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit

As a RGN – Clinical Lead Nurse, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar setting
  • A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
