Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) - Staff Nurse - Mental Health Hospital - Staffordshire - £16ph + Guaranteed £9,000 bonus paid over the year 

You will be an Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with experience working in a clinical care setting looking for an exciting new RMN or RNLD position within a prestigious Mental Health Hospital in Staffordshire. 

My client is one of the largest providers of high quality care for individuals with mental health needs.  This mental health hospital looks after individuals with a variety of needs.  Split over 3 units including a PICU, assessment unit, and eating disorders service, most service users have psychosis, bipolar or an eating disorder.

The role of the RMN or RNLD Staff Nurse is:

  • Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
  • Develop, review and update care plans
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff.
  • Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff 
  • Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit
  • Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

As a RMN or RNLD Staff Nurse  within this Mental Health Hospital you will have:

  • Experience in a similar setting (Hospital or Nursing Home)
  • A RMN or RNLD qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • The legal right to work in the UK
