Staff Nurse - RGN, RMN or RNLD - Specialist Care - Oldham - £35,075p/a

Permanent days, nights or mixed shifts

Full time or part time hours available

We are currently looking to recruit a nurse to fill a staff nurse role in a specialist care service in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Your patients will include people suffering from Dementia, Huntington's disease and Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). Due to this, you can either be qualified as a general nurse, mental health nurse or a learning disabilities nurse.

As a Staff Nurse in a Specialist Nursing Home, you will need to:

  • Provide clinical leadership & supervision for nurses and healthcare staff 
  • Participate in the induction and training of all new nurses on the unit
  • Supervise and monitor standards of nursing care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places 
  • Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
  • Develop, review and update care plans
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood and adhered to by all staff

You will need to be:

  • Qualified as an RGN, RMN or RNLD
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • NMC registered
