Physiotherapist - Band 6 - Acute Assessment Unit / Frailty Unit /A&E - London - £28 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist to join an Acute Assessment Unit/A&E Team based in London. This is for an initial 3 month contract, but is likely to be extended. Working hours for this role will include 37.5 hrs/week Monday to Friday, with the suitable candidates needing to work a mix of early (8am - 4 pm) and late (10 am - 6 pm ) shifts.

Duties of this Physiotherapist - Band 6 role will include:

  • Competent in rapid assessment and discharge planning in fast paced short stay/A&E environment
  • Experience in assessment /treatment/discharge planning in acute care of the elderly/medical wards in a busy hospital with sound respiratory knowledge and skills 
  •  Experience working in an acute NHS hospital within an MDT
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in equipment provision for safe discharge

As a Physiotherapist - Band 6 you MUST be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
