Staff Nurse – RGN – Learning Disabilities & ABI – Southport - £30,000 per annum

Hours - Full Time or part time

We are currently looking for an experienced RGN to join a 30 bed care home in Southport. This care home provides care for both men and women with learning disabilities or acquired brain injury, and provides ongoing maintenance therapies for longer stay patients in need of long-term care and support. They also specialise in complex neuro-disability, including care of tracheostomy and mechanical ventilated patients

This facility has four separate specialist service areas for people who may have a variety of physical disabilities as well as either acquired brain injury, learning disability, or mental illness associated with conditions such as epilepsy or sensory impairment.

Within the complex, two specialised areas are dedicated to people with acquired brain injury or progressive neurological conditions, including those with long-term physical disability.

As a Staff Nurse ( RGN ), you will be part of a team who offer evidence based patient centred care and therapy to help patients maximise their physical, emotional and social potential.

As a Staff Nurse – RGN – Learning Disabilities & ABI, you must have:

  • A Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) qualification
  • NMC PIN and the legal right to work in the UK
  • Keen interest in learning disabilities and ABI
