Senior Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD - Adults Complex and Physical Health Needs – Birmingham – Up to £36,300 per annum

Full Time Hours - Days/nights

I am looking for an experienced and confident Registered Nurse to join this complex and physical health needs service in Birmingham as a Senior Staff Nurse. You will be looking for a new permanent position in a new and innovative complex care setting with young adults.  This new specialist service which has opened only this month will provide outstanding care to young people who have complex physical needs in line with the other services across the UK. 

The young adults in your care will have diagnoses of conditions including acute physical and mental illness.

This service is part of one of the UK's leading providers of care for young adults with complex physical disabilities. As Senior Staff Nurse in this service you will be part of a passionate team working in a person-centered way to ensure that the optimum level of care and compassion is given to each individual in your care.

In your role as Senior Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD you will be expected to:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate care programmes
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments, assess client care requirements
  • Provide safe and effective means for ordering, handling, storing and administering medication
  • Reviewing and documenting care plans
  • Deputising for the Home Manager where necessary

The ideal Senior Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD will possess:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification ( RGN, RMN, RNLD )
  • A current NMC registration
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Proven experience in a similar setting (nursing home or hospital)
  • Up to date knowledge of developments within nursing
