Home Manager - Elderly and Dementia Care Home – Preston - £45,000 per annum

40 hours per week (flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)

We are currently looking for an experienced Home Manager ( Nurse Qualified is preferable ) to manage an Elderly and Dementia Care Home in Preston. They are looking for an exceptional Home Manager who has the right attitude, skills and knowledge to share their passion for delivering the best quality care.

As a Home Manager, you will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life for each individual in your care. They are looking for a Home Manager who has strong leadership skills, and experience in dementia is essential for this role.

Key Duties as a Home Manager - Elderly and Dementia Care Home:

  • Oversee teams to ensure individual needs of service users are met
  • Promote dignity, independence and rights to privacy
  • Recruit, Lead and develop staff
  • Work towards legal and CQC requirements at all times and drive the home to “outstanding”
  • Have full budget responsibility
  • Engage with new customers and maintain positive relationships with existing referrers

As a Home Manager - Elderly and Dementia Care Home, you must have:

  • Previous experience as a Care Home Manager
  • Nurse Qualification and NMC PIN (preferable)
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working within a dementia setting
