I am currently recruiting for an experienced registered nurse (RGN/RMN) to join a well-respected and regarded nursing home in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Responsibilities of an RGN or RMN in a Nursing Home are:
  • Providing a high standard of care to people
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
  • Contributing to patient assessments and compiling a plan of care alongside the individual
  • Monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

As a Staff Nurse – RGN or RMN – Nursing Home you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring optimum client care is maintained by managing patient care plans and risk assessments 
  • Providing a highest standard of quality care of patients 
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of clinical practice 
  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating resident care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care

As a Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse - RGN or RMN - you will have:

  • Experience in a similar setting
  • An RGN or RMN qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
