Detox Nurse - RGN or RMN - Drug and Alcohol clinic - Peterborough - Salary up to £32,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday / 9am until 5pm working hours

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RGN or RMN, to take on Detox Nurse position  within our client's multi-disciplinary team in Peterborough.

This service offers specialist prescribing services, rapid access to assessment, responsive titration and a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions to people entering the Recovery Service through referral, open access or the criminal justice system.

As a Detox Nurse - RMN or RGN, your duties will include:

  • BBV testing
  • Vaccination
  • ECG's
  • Support through alcohol and opiate detoxification
  • Ensure all clinical information is gathered, processed and verified by clinicians where required
  • Ensure alcohol Ambulatory Detox’s are carried out in the community

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RMN or RGN. Essential requirements are as follows, you will be:

  • Nurse qualified ( RMN or RGN ) with an active UK Nursing PIN
  • Proven post qualifying experience within Mental Health
  • Car Driver with a clean licence
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice
