Home Manager – RGN, RMN, RNLD – Nursing Home - Castleford, West Yorkshire – Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time

If so… this is new opportunity to become part of great nursing team in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

This Nursing Home is a 20 bed home for adults with mental health problems or complex behavioural issues. Some residents also have physical disabilities which require nursing care. They are currently looking for a highly skilled Home Manager, who ideally has previous experience in managing a care home.

As a Home Manager, you manage the business, so your remit will be to make the home a complete success.

This means as a Home Manager you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing the business to ensure it reaches its full potential
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Working with regulatory bodies and local placing authorities
  • Conducting pre-admission assessments and completing costings for prospective admissions
  • Creating and developing strong relationships  internal and external
  • Leading and motivating your team
  • Dealing with recruitment, employee relations and other people related issues
  • Facilitating and co-ordinating staff training and development, conducting appraisals and supervisions

To be successful in this role you will need/be:

  • Previous management experience, preferably in the private sector
  • NMC PIN and nursing qualification
  • Up to date with current evidence based practice with a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations.
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Self-motivated and results orientated
