Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD  - Brain Injury & Neurological Care Centre - Relocation package up to £8,000 and funding for MSc Nursing course - North Lanarkshire - £24,559 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Nurse who is interested in working working neurological care. The service supports those over the age of 16 with brain injuries and neurological conditions.

As a Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD working in the Specialist Brain Injury and Neurological Care Service your main duties will be:

  • To actively participate with the multidisciplinary team in formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessments
  • Administering drugs and checking preparations in accordance with company policy and procedures and NMC guidelines
  • Providing assistance and clinical leadership in the induction/development and supervision of new and junior staff
  • Regularly reviewing risk factors and working in conjunction with other health professionals to modify care plans as appropriate
  • Ensuring that clinical practice is evidenced based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and the organisations policies and procedures
  • Liaising effectively with all actively involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, aspiring to provide an effective, seamless and integrated service to patients/residents
  • To protect vulnerable adults/children from internal/external factors and act as a Patient Advocate

As a Newly Qualified Nurse - RGN/RMN/RNLD, you will have:

  • Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK 
  • The ability to use your skills to develop care plans and assessments 
  • A good understanding of the care programme approach and risk assessment
