RMN - Deputy Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice - Substance Misuse - West Midlands - Up to £55,000 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 hours

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse ( RMN ) to join this specialist substance misuse charity as Deputy Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice.  

As an RMN, you will be joining one of the country's most highly regarded substance misuse charities who strive to provide an outstanding quality of care to each of their service users. 

Located at sites across the Midlands you will be working with a specialist multidisciplinary team consisting of peer mentors, nurses and other clinicians.You will be competent across a range of clinical skills, supported by professional and medical knowledge. You will have a sound knowledge of the treatment journey and have a positive training and continued professional development.

As RMN - Deputy Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice you will:

  • Be passionate about delivering first class care
  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated MDT
  • Experienced in working in inpatients settings of people with significant mental health needs
  • Work flexibly across operational sites as required
  • To contribute to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved
  • Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours of work to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision
  • Seek to improve personal performance, contribution, knowledge and skills

As an RMN - Deputy Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice, you must have/be:

  • An RMN qualification with current NMC registration ( RMN )
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role
  • Experience in leading programmes of change
  • Demonstrable knowledge in quality and regulatory standards within healthcare services
  • Expert in governance and risk management
  • Enhanced DBS
