RMN - Registered Mental Health Nurse – CAMHS – Bury, North West England – Salary up to £28,684.19 dependent on experience + £1000 CAMHS service incentive

I am currently recruiting for a Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) who has a passion for working within a CAMHS setting.

This particular CAMHS service in Buy Manchester, provide individualist care for people aged between 13 and 18 whose needs mean they cannot be supported in a community setting. The services provide safe, therapeutic environments with a focus on helping the patient stabilise, so that hospital treatment is no longer required.

For this CAMHS position, you must be confident in assessing a variety of acute and complex mental health issues as well as planning and implementing treatment. As an RMN, you will be familiar with multi-agency working and have a clear understanding of the importance of family involvement.

Within this CAMHS service, they provide care for young people with a range of mental health issues including:

  • Psychosis
  • Self-harm and /or suicidal
  • Depression or anxiety
  • Emerging personality disorder
  • Eating disorder
  • Substance misuse (requires primary diagnosis of a mental health problem)
  • Emotional / social and behavioural difficulties
  • Borderline / mild learning disability as a secondary diagnosis
  • Austism Spectrum Disorders
