Healthcare Assistant - Nursing Home - Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2 or 3 - Knutsford, Cheshire - Up to £8.50 per hour

I am currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to join an elderly and dementia nursing home in Knutsford, Cheshire. 

For this position, it's essential you have a keen interest or have previous experience working within elderly and dementia and hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to gain more knowledge and experience working within a nursing home environment. You will be responsible for 1-2-1 support within the nursing home, and will be dedicated to providing the highest levels of quality care.

As a Healthcare Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Play a key role in the lives of the individuals that we support
  • Provide high quality emotional and physical support, as well as building and maintaining life skills
  • Enhance and enrich quality of life for all service users
  • Look after the health and wellbeing of service users
  • Support the personalised development of each service users
  • Keep accurate records including preparing care plans, writing daily diaries and risk assessments 
  • To deliver care and support within the regulatory requirements of C.Q.C

To be successful in this Healthcare Assistant role, you must have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 in health and social care
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience working within the healthcare sector
  • A keen interest or previous experience working with elderly and dementia
