Newly Qualified Nurse – RGN – Nursing Home – Yorkshire – Starting salary of £25,411 per annum - Pay rise on completion of preceptorship

Contract: Permanent, Full time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly dedicated and motivated newly qualified RGN who is looking for their first qualified nursing position – and to complete their preceptorship.

My client have opportunities available across general nursing, adult nursing and elderly and dementia. They are looking for a newly qualified nurse who is passionate about progressing in their nursing career and who has an interest in gaining experience in this field of nursing.

As a Newly Qualified Nurse (RGN ) this is an exciting opportunity for you to gain experience and develop your clinical skills within a company that offers an exciting career path.

This Newly Qualified Nurse - RMN Preceptorship programme includes:

  • Support from the Preceptorship Development Manager
  • Minimum two shifts per week working with your nominated preceptor
  • Preceptee supernumery 1st week on ward
  • Monthly CPD Days off the ward (specialist and general)
  • Clinical supervision, minimum 1 session per month
  • Managerial supervision, minimum 1 session per month
  • Preceptee Group Meetings on site and across the group
  • Pay rise on completion of preceptorship
  • Certificate and letter of completion

As a Newly Qualified Nurse – RMN, your duties will include:

  • Administering medication
  • Reviewing the care needs of patients
  • Analysing trends to ensure clinical reports are maintained accurately and ensuring care is delivered accordingly based on each patient's requirements
  • Supervising the care given by junior staff, i.e., Nurse Support Workers and be able to lead a shift

As a Newly Qualified Nurse, you must have:

  • A Registered Mental Health ( RGN ) qualification
  • A current, valid registration with the NMC
  • The legal right to work in the UK
