RSCN - Nurse Specialist - Utilisation Management - Child Health - Surrey - £40,000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a Nurse Specialist (NS) (also known as Utilisation Management Clinician). You will be playing a vital role in ensuring that high quality, clinically necessary care is being provided in the most appropriate and cost-effective therapeutic setting.
This is part of the services managed child health care model for the exciting new partnership with the Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust, Central Surrey Health and First Community Health, supporting the community health care needs of approximately 290,000 people across Surrey from 0-19 years.
As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for collaboratively reviewing with care teams the flow into (front door) and out (back door) of community-based services and assisting with pro-active and comprehensive discharge/after care planning to maintain case flow across the system and making the most efficient yet safe use of child health resources.
The ideal RSCN - Nurse Specialist will:
- Be a qualified RSCN (registered sick children's nurse)
- Have a valid UK nursing registration (PIN)
- Possess excellent clinical judgement
- Have proven man management experience in a healthcare setting
