Newly Qualified Nurse - RMN or RNLD - Preceptorship - Private Mental Health Hospital - North London - £27,925 - £31,542 per annum plus benefits

Working for this service as a Newly Qualified Nurse you will receive £500 for completing 3 months service, £650 for completing 9 months service and £950 for completing 18 months service. 

This Hospital cares for men with a diagnosis of mental disorder and associated challenging behaviour. They offer patients assessment and specialised treatment. They have a full care pathway with medium secure wards, low secure wards, and a rehabilitation wing.

The role of Newly Qualified Nurse - RMN or RNLD involves:

  • To accept personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.
  • To work as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for an identified group of patients whilst consistently working within the clinical governance framework.

As a Newly Qualified Nurse - RMN or RNLD, you will need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration with the NMC
  • Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
