Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager RGN or RMN - Croydon, South London - Up to £35,000 depending on experience.

I am currently looking for a highly experienced and dedicated RGN or RMN to join this purpose built nursing home for the elderly in Croydon, South London. This home offers both an independent lifestyle in sheltered flats and full nursing care.

Staff offer outstanding care provision and the home has been awarded the highest accreditation of 'Beacon Status' in End of Life Care through an independent quality assurance process. This fantastic home offers a popular luncheon club open to all nearby elderly residents. A dedicated activities co-ordinator provides a full programme of daily activities both within the home and to places further afield.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse/ Deputy Manager ( RGN or RMN ) you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining high standards in all other resident centred services such as day care, specialist units and general activities as appropriate
  • Monitoring standards on a routine and systematic basis
  • Ensuring that all standards required by registering and regulatory and other statutory bodies are met 
  • Keeping up to date with current philosophies of care and promote modern practices
  • Acting in a professional manner at all times and to uphold the NMC code of professional conduct
  • Ensuring that complaints are dealt with promptly, professionally and sympathetically in accordance with the Trust's complaints policy

  • Abiding by and ensuring all staff adhere to the Trust's Quality Policies and Procedures

As a Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager ( RGN or RMN ), you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse ( RGN or RMN ) qualification
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Up to date knowledge of current practices
