Senior Nurse RMN or RNLD -Tier 4 CAMHS Service - Sevenoaks, Kent - £27,925 - £30,542 per annum plus benefits

Working for this service as a Senior Nurse you will receive £500 for completing 3 months service, £650 for completing 9 months service and £950 for completing 18 months service. My Client is one of the UK's leading providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK.

This fully compliant award winning hospital is an integrated Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) with a DfE registered school, the Knole Development Centre. Our specialist pathway offers an open acute admissions service, and a pre-discharge wing to allow for a smooth transition for patients returning home to their families. 

The hospital also operates a low secure service for men which is run in a joint working arrangement with Kent and Medway Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The role of Senior Nurse RMN or RNLD involves:

  • To accept personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care, for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.
  • To work as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for an identified group of patients whilst consistently working within the clinical governance framework.
  • The opportunity to develop and progress across the Staff Nurse grading through a distinct career pathway.

An ideal Senior Nurse RMN or RNLD will have:

  • A RMN or RNLD qualification
  • A proven ability to co-ordinate care, prioritise tasks and manage Health & Safety issues

  • A flexible, positive, team-orientated approach.
  • A current, valid registration with the NMC and the legal right to work in the UK
