Registered Nurse - RGN - Elderly Nursing Home - Leading Non-Profit Organisation - Prestwich, Manchester - £15 per hour

39 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) has arisen to join one of the leading social and nursing care charities in the north of the UK and providing a service for end of life, palliative and respite care to elderly residents.

 The role of the Registered Nurse (RGN) is: 

  • To work according to Nursing & Midwifery Council Code 
  • Promoting the ethos of Person Centered Care
  • Assessment of care and health care needs
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care
  • To develop care plan's relevant to a patients individual needs
  • To ensure all arrangements for the admission of residents are in place
  • To ensure the medication rounds are conducted accurately and correct
  • To liaise with GP's and all members of the MDT team 

As a Registered Nurse (RGN) you will have: 

  • A general nursing qualification (RGN)
  • Experience of delivering person centred care in a similar environment (RGN)
  • Knowledge of caring for the elderly 
  • Excellent communication skills
