Social Work Assistant - First Contact / MASH - Northumberland - £12.95 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Social Work Assistant to join a busy but highly supportive First Contact / MASH Team in Northumberland.

As a successful Social Work Assistant, you will be working with children and families, whilst supporting Social Workers in carrying out assessments.

What will you be doing as a Social Work Assistant?

* Supporting Social workers in carrying out assessments
* Undertaking direct work with children
* Supporting parents in crisis
* Supporting children and parents in accessing services
* Supervising children's contacts with parents when necessary

Essential requirements of this Social Work Assistant role:

* Minimum NVQ Level 3 Social Care
* Previous experience as a Social Work Assistant
* Experience working with children and families
* The legal right to work in the UK
