Ward Manager - RGN - Stroke/Medical Ward - Private, Independent Hospital - Central London - Up to £49,000 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

This is a modern in-patients ward that was recently redesigned to make it a welcoming and uplifting environment for patients recovering from stroke or other medical conditions.

As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading the nursing staff and ensuring patients are receiving appropriate care. In return for your hard work, our client is offering a promising benefits package, above-average starting salary, and excellent training.

Responsibilities of this Ward Manager - RGN role include:

* Adhere to the principles of clinical governance
* Lead the clinical staff team and ensure resources are appropriately distributed
* Preparing for CQC inspections or in-house eclinical audits
* Recruiting, interviewing, and training of new ward staff
* Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and any pre- or post-treatment care
* Working alongside consultants to ensure the correct care and information is being delivered to patients
* *Participating in clinical and quality audits, including the managing and reporting of incidents.
* Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use

Essential requirements of this Ward Manager - RGN role include:

* Qualified as a Registered General Nurse with NMC PIN
* Experience in a hospital medical ward
* Clinical leadership qualities and/or previous experience
* The legal right to work in the UK
